What is legal compliance?
Legal compliance means conforming to the law. Legal compliance describes the steps taken by organizations to comply with relevant laws and regulations. Clients embarked on OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 implementation projects often discover compliance issues placing their organizations outside the law. Legal compliance provides a major consideration for clients facing OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 or Achilles / UVDB implementation
Legal Compliance Consultancy
Your organization will soon benefit from an action plan designed by one of our chartered IOSH consultants aimed at establishing legal compliance for relevant occupational health and safety and/or environmental regulations.
Clients can also select a legal compliance assessment carried out following compilation of their legal and other requirements register. The assessment includes a thorough review of your current activities to assess compliance with applicable legal and other requirements. The review is designed to meet the compliance assessment clauses of ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 and vendor accreditation schemes such as Achilles Building Confidence / UVDB. An integral part of the review is a detailed report including a clearly defined action plan designed to achieve compliance. We can also provide qualified guidance and support to your organisation during the implementation of any actions.
On-going support where required can be provided by DAT Performance including periodic compliance reviews where we establish levels of compliance as well as advising your organization of any changes in legislation that impact your organization. As part of the review we provide summary reports for input to your OHSAS 18001 / ISO 14001 management review process.
Legal compliance services are delivered to the highest possible standard using down to earth and highly experienced chartered IOSH consultants using simple jargon free methodology.
