Peak Packaging has been established for over 26 years. Peak supply IBC liquid liners to food, dairy, toiletries and cosmetics manufacturers.
Recent years have seen substantial investments in Peak's UK site including the commissioning of a new state of the art injection moulding equipment for the manufacture of liner fitments and the introduction of improved electronic management systems using ProActive.
Liners and fitments produced at Peak are approved for direct food contact by FDA/IMS, manufactured in accordance with the BRC Global standard for packaging. Significant parts of the company’s investments focus on its commitment to product safety and quality.
Following a detailed review early in 2018 the senior team at Peak decided that ProActive software would be introduced, the objective being to reinforce and improve existing risk management processes in line with the latest BRC Global standard for packaging.
Following a relatively short introduction period and assessment by LRQA the certifying body, Peak achieved certification to the BRC Global Packaging standard with ease.
ProActive now firmly established at Peak ensures that the team are easily able to access, maintain and share important risk controls as well as being able to rapidly communicate any potential performance issues. This enables the team to assure product quality and safety in a timely and effective manner.
The ProActive BRC quality system transformed Peak's risk management systems, consequently, Peak is able to take pride in its risk management systems and successive AA graded certification results awarded by LRQA.
